Something about quilting is that there are really just a few key elements in different blocks. Once you know these elements - the are no limits on the quilts you can put together and the design elements you can add to your quilts. One of those key elements is the Flying Geese Block. I was super excited to see that Mill House Quilts will be offering a class that focuses just on the Flying Geese Block. In three hours you’ll have another tool in your tool chest for creating a fantastic quilt (or quilts)! Sign up today!

Expand your quilting skills by learning how to make the flying geese block. You will learn three techniques for making flying geese, but the focus will be on the fast way to make geese that “fly” off your sewing machine. Instructions to make a “gaggle of geese” will be provided in class. Lots of other ideas for using flying geese will be presented. You can use them to make stars, pine trees, house roofs, and lots more.
