We will be making quilts and knit hats for new-borns to prevent infant death from hypother-mia. Your contributions make a huge difference in the lives of moms and babies in Tanzania.
The fee for this sew day will be donated to Hope 2 Others. Sewing machines available if arranged in advance, otherwise bring your own. Mill House Quilts will donate the Shannon cuddle fabric we will use for making infant hats. $20 to be donated to Hope 2 Others.

Join Jeremy Jeffries of Benartex for this three part presentation and become a fabric expert! Topics include how to identify quality fabric (and what makes it good quality), how batiks are made, and a preview of Benartex’s upcoming 2019 fabric lines.

Would you like to know the value of your quilt? Carol Butzke, certified quilt appraiser, will be at Mill House Quilts throughout the day. Both vintage/antique or newer quilts can be appraised.
It can be appraised at replacement or resale value. Carol will provide a written appraisal at the end of each appointment.
Half hour appointments per quilt can be scheduled by calling our store or signing up on-line. $50 per appraisal.
