  • This class provides an introduction to the skills and strategies used to machine quilt your quilts on your own sewing machine. Are these questions you have about quilting? “What designs and techniques could I use on my quilt? What are my choices? How do I start? How do I layer my quilt? What about batting, backing, needles, and thread?” You will experience machine-guided quilting with your walking foot. You will begin making a wholecloth table runner in class to learn quilting design and layout. It will give you the practice and experience you are looking for in quiltmaking. If you are a beginner, this is the first class to take before “Introduction to Free Motion Machine Quilting.”
